As I'm sitting here watching The Hand Puppet's address to the nation I'm thinking, "This all sounds really good..."
But in the back of my head I'm thinking "Shouldn't this speach have been coming, oh, at LEAST a week ago??"
And maybe it's just my alchohol poisoned memory at work here, but didn't The W give a similar speech in New York like, THE NEXT FUCKING DAY after Sept. 11???
I don't want to be a conspiracy theorist here but....
(We'll temporarily forget that this "administration" CUT funding to repair the levies and many other preventive measures in New Orleans in the last year or so for our own sanity...)
